Visual Harmonics
Catalogue [of] Making

The Catalogue of Making is a series of experiments and prototypes that explores real-time visuals controlled by a physical interface. These interfaces are built with performers in mind, with the intent of finding out the most seamless integration that could be used in a live setting.

It documents the search for a visual style that is responsive and high-quality. This ranges from using "dithering" to personalize visuals with input images , to utilizing Blender simulations and the EEVEE engine to generate complex, abstract visuals that can react in real-time.

It details the testing of different sensors to capture specific types of movement. This includes using Gyro sensors to track rotation and tilting , Distance sensors to detect hand hovering , and Piezo sensors to pick up the vibration and force of a drum hit.
